Components
- 500g sturdy white bread flour
- 7g sachet/1.5 tsp fast-action yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp clear honey
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 25g mushy butter
- 100g mature cheddar, grated
- handful thyme leaves

Methodology
- STEP 1
Measure the flour, yeast and salt into a big bowl. Combine 300ml hand-hot water with the oil and honey in a jug, then pour into the dry combine, stirring on a regular basis to make a mushy dough.
- STEP 2
Flip the dough out onto a flippantly floured floor, then knead for five minutes till the dough not feels sticky, sprinkling with a little bit extra flour as you want it. Now stretch it to suit the Swiss roll tin.
- STEP 3
Combine the garlic with the butter, then dot over the dough. Sprinkle over the cheese and snip over the thyme. Cowl the bread with flippantly oiled cling movie, then depart in a heat place to rise for 40 minutes.
- STEP 4
Warmth oven to 200C/fan 180C/fuel 6. Take away the cling movie, then bake the bread for 30 minutes till golden and risen. Go away to chill for 10 minutes, then lower into 12 items and serve.
